CAMBODIA, Phnom Penh. 10/07/2016: An angry crowd of nearly 1000 people, many of them from the Borei Keila community, has gathered in front of the Caltex gas station at the corner of Monivong and Mao Tse Toung where Kem Ley, an outspoken political analyst, was assassinated by several gun shots around 9:00 AM that same morning, supposedly by a man called Choup Samlap ('Meeting to Kill') for a so-called debt of 3000$.
