sorry to be the bringer of silly trivia but yeah, the 2007 toku is by inoue and the 2004 movie is from anno....... still, its a cutie honey adaptation so you know what to expect

Gives nose/forehead kisses: kirihiko, in an elegant classy way (forehead kisses especially, hand kisses i can also see). shoutarou is too emotionally constipated

Gets jealous the most: shoutarou

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: kirihiko. also this made me want to see drunk shoutarou soooo bad

Takes care of on sick days: if either of them get sick the other forms a team with philip and akiko about it

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: neither. kirihiko is too classy to want to play in the water and shoutarou is too hardboiled to admit he wants to play in the water. it's up to philip and akiko again (important detail: akiko also dragged philip into the water because he was just sitting on the beach with a book but he started having fun once he was in there)

Gives unprompted massages: kirihiko. he's like really good at it too

Drives/rides shotgun: shoutarou drives the w motorcycle and kirihiko clings on behind him

Brings the other lunch at work: this requires me to think up what kind of situation kirihiko would be in in this hypothetical au but i can def see him dropping by the agency with a lunch

Has the better parental relationship: i think they have one living parent between the two of them and it's shoutarou's mom

Tries to start role-playing in bed: oh god. i don't think shoutarou knows what that is but if he did he might try to. it would be ridiculous

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: shoutarou of course
