My party was a lot of fun last night, and I'm super glad that my best friend from book club and my best friends from school got along SUPER well. It's funny how all my friends, even the ones who don't know each other, have a lot of major traits in common with each other that they don't have in common with me XD
We played video games and watched John Dies at the End and made s'mores and toasted the end of the school year with a glass of sparkling grape juice. Then we went to drop Hannah ( mogendersmofandomsnoproblems ) off at their house at 10:30 and ended up staying until 1 AM because they had a dreamcast and Kev ( fuckzubat ) and Ler ( rena-nee ) wanted to play Chu Chu Rocket. It was pretty darn awesome. It was also very confusing if I had to get Ler or Little Lauren's ( sospacepunked ) attention because we only call them "Ler" and "Little Lauren" in third person, when we're addressing them it's just Lauren, so you'd be like "Hey Lauren, you want another s'more?" and it'd be like "Yes!" "No!" and you were just??? Aaah it was great though ^^

i have several tubes of paint and some paintbrushes that i never used. and since i'm switching majors i'm never going to use them. so i could return them and use the cash for responsible adult things. like gas. and the state fair. or i could exchange them for that tube of cobalt turquoise i found the other day that is perfect for the painting i'm making for Gabi's birthday. so far i've been mixing the color and it's not quite right - i can't get the right shade, and it's not vibrant enough because when you mix paints they lose their vibrancy. the cobalt turquoise is like. $23. for 2 oz. and i'd never use it again. but it's literally the perfect hue and i just. ugh. i really want this to be a good painting but i am responsible adult what do
