short but sweet renjun blurb ^^

you and renjun have been best friends for as long as you can remember. sure, you’ve hugged him plenty of times, but you always wondered what hugging him would feel like if you ever dated. it would surely feel different…but now after a couple months of dating, you still haven’t been able to identify that feeling you were expecting to change. it worried you. you felt at fault for not feeling any different about him, everything still felt the same to you, thinking maybe you just didn’t love him in that way. but it took you long enough to realize that it’s not that you didn’t love renjun… hugging renjun didn’t feel any different because you’ve loved him all along.

You heard the door opening and closing, signaling that Renjun came home. You stood up from the sofa, running down the stairs to the door.

You haven’t seen him for months due to the tour. When you spotted him you quickened your steps and he came towards you.

A sound of bodies literally crashing into the other filled the air as you clung onto each other, hugging tightly.

“I’m so glad you’re back”. “I missed you”, he replied. “I love you”. “I love you too”.

You brought Renjuns luggage to your room - even though he resisted first - and then you two laid down on the couch, cuddling and Renjun told you about the highlights of the tour.

You have heard some of them already when you facetimed at night while he was on tour but you didn’t mind hearing his stories twice - or thrice. Nothing beats Renjun smiling brightly while he talks passionately about his memories.

Hours later, you stopped talking and loud yawning filled the room.

12:00 A.M.

You were sitting at your desk chair while playing a speed game in Kartrider when suddenly your boyfriend Renjun, who just woke up from a nap, came stumbling in the room wearing a hoodie that is clearly swallowing his entire body, he looked so adorable! His hair flew in various directions and it made him look cuter. With his adorable face puffed up he looked at you with round eyes and came trotting towards you.

“I just woke up.”

“Yes, you did.”

You couldn’t help but chuckle at his cuteness. His voice was groggy and small, his lips were in a form of a pout, you wanted to hold him close like that, he was the cutest thing in the world! He was standing there looking tiny as ever, he was definitely taller than you but he did look miniscule!

“come here, Renjun.”

You took one of his sweater paws and pulled him to sit on your lap. You continued on playing with the game while he was sitting on your lap praising your skills and saying random things to make you laugh. The two of you stayed like that, but you eventually got tired of the game and went to watch a movie on your laptop still holding him close embracing his warmth.
