my favorite REPEAT character
Got an odd fondness for this screenshot I took of REPEAT when I first tried to get it to run without the RTP (don’t worry, I eventually got around it lol). Have yet to see this unique error happen with any other RPG Maker game.
Just finished the demo for REPEAT!
It’s pretty good, aside from the fact that I had to replace some of the map files.
I didn’t like how, in the middle of a lot of dialogue, you had to press a button to get it to the next few words in the same text box (done to simulate a pause in speech, which can also be done by just having a delay in the text displaying rather than a key press being needed). It’s kind of a nitpick, though... mostly just frustrated b/c I wanted to screenshot some of the dialogue and wound up with more pictures than I technically needed.
Other than that, it just needs the usual balancing of combat and puzzles, general bugfixes, and it looks like it’ll be a really nice fangame!
