Kittens in the Sunflowers ❀
Iseul sat in her garden after a long day in the shoppe, the small house she had with her mother but her mother spent most of her time in the hospital lately and being inside made Iseul remember that, causing her heart and anxiety issues to be worse. Of course she went during visiting hours, however that wasn’t super often because of her treatments. Digging into the warm soil as her braids fell next to her face she tried to keep her mind of her worries and worked the ground pulling out the new weeds that had sprouted. Looking over the sunflowers were in full bloom since it was the end of summer. They had stayed in bloom longer this year with the bit of warm weather which Iseul was grateful for.
It was then a small back fluffball jumped over the rock wall and made its way to the sunflowers and curled up to her fluffly large female cat snuggling close falling asleep. “Hello again small one.” She said smiling as she watched the two kittens sleep in the sunflowers with the sun beaming down on them as the slept. Turning back to her flowers she pulled out more weeds before she heard a knock on the gate to the garden. Tilting her head she slipped off her gloves and tried to brush off her pants. It was not not very often they had visitors in general let alone to the back garden. Fixing her cardigan she went to the door and carefully opened it her heart beat loud in her ears as her anxiety rose. Gangs didn’t usually come to her area but it didn’t calm her fear about who was behind the gate. Opening it only peering out she saw a man much taller than her in a more professional attire. “Hello? ...Um...May i help you with something?” She said softly in a shy voice not sure who the man was or his attentions were.
