hands in his pockets as they walked downtown after a heavy dinner, sebastian looked over from the crescent moon starting to come up to the sun starting to set before he looked to mariah who walked next to him. “so –– your dad... the bio one,” he clarified. “i went golfing with him and teddy over the weekend and he said he noticed we’ve been spending a lot of time together,” sebastian shared nervously. he’d liked mariah for a long time but the timing never felt right, and when it did, she was with someone else. the past couple months, though, was the first time in years they’d both been single at the same time. “had to remind him we’re just friends, just in case you get any questions.”
