기동기: ☆ !     “ that’s what you always say, hyung. ” baekhyun is currently tapping away at his phone, probably sucked into another pineapple pen game, and with this his voice is slightly more of a murmur than anything else. usually, if it had to do with him, he’d be alert by now, but, since it didn’t, he stays in his place, outwardly sighing when he doesn’t reach his high score for the seventh time.

“ – you know, you’re totally right. ” his sudden turn of interest is all thanks to his boredom, and his is phone tossed to the side of the couch before he can stand, walking over to the other and placing a hand on his shoulder.  “ if it was me, i’d say you’re over reacting, but it isn’t, so you’re totally right. ”

Junmyeon couldn’t help the small chuckle as he watched Baekhyun play the video game before them vigorously, thumbs mashing on his iPhone as he tried to pass one of the levels on EXO Run without much success. ( Hey, even they can play their own game without it being some sort of advertisement-- it was fun after all. ) He could tell that the other was struggling but he wasn’t about to offer to do it for him. At least not yet-- he wanted to see the other lose again. It amused the leader a little bit more than he could actually admit. When the game finally came to a close and Baekhyun, once again, zipped past the finish line in second place he let out a hearty laugh and gently patted the male on the back. 

“Let me give it a shot, yeah?” Junmyeon questioned with a raised brow and a broad smile pulling across his lips. He reached a hand over and ruffled the males locks a little bit before bringing his attention towards the cellphone that was tossed on the couch so haphazardly, a telltale sign of frustration from the younger. “I’ve done all of the levels already, three starred them and what not, so I can probably do it for you just so you can continue on with your life-- if that’s something you’re willing to let me do anyways. I wouldn’t want to, uhm, bruise your ego.” It was a little bit of a challenge, at least a Junmyeon type of challenge: gentle words that pierce right into the chest.

Huh-uh, I’m not sure what kind of answer I should be giving to this just yet–give me a few seconds while I debate with my witty–witty brain to see if it’s a tricky one. For example, do you wish me to simply agree and tell you as you wish so it makes you feel better about the shameless, shameless act, or do you want me to be honest and well–tell you that while you might not be the only one, Junmyeon-sshi, I am sorry to say, that is just shameless. But you’re definitely not the only one, except, you’re not thinking about including me right? Because I can assure you, I am definitely one hundred percent–vain at times but I don’t do that, heol. Wait, what kind of merchandise are we talking about, the ones the fans make with your own names on it?

Yes I do wish for you to simply agree with me because it will make me feel better about my slightly self-centered brain, it is very nice to believe that I am not the only celebrity out there that does such shameless and self promoting things. I have been teased a little bit by my own members for doing such things so I have this strong desire to find people outside of my own group and company that do the same as me, and why not contact the great Kim Hyunah to see if she does the same? It seemed like a harmless endeavor but I’m almost beginning to regret it, aheu. And maybe some of it is fan-made merchendise but some is also purchased from the SMTOWN Coex mall as well with my own hard earned cash because... hey, some of the stuff is actually quite nice, so no making fun of me. I got a sweatshirt from the store and wearing it feels like I’m floating on a cloud because it is so soft.

“You look like you ate for twenty years.” She said with mild amusement and mock disgust, side-eyeing the male with a hint of judgement and a grimace on her face. His mouth was basically still full and she honestly hadn’t known they’d be able to eat everything they ordered in one go. Granted, Hyuna was probably just as stuffed as him, but she decided to gracefully omit that fact in her act of distaste. “You’re pretty much pregnant now. With food. Amazing. I want to take a photo and show it to all of your fans, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.” She added, turning around with a gesture as if she’s looking for her phone.

A frown pulled at Junmyeon’s lips at the females rather harsh words but there was a tiny little twinkle in her eyes as well that was unmistakable to the male, making his frown very quickly melt into a bright smile. It was rather impossible for him to be mad at his friend after all, despite the sibling-esque teasing that was constantly between the both of them. (Well, the teasing was mostly on Hyunah’s end, he never really partook in such things unless it was with his members. He couldn’t find it in himself to treat a lady such a way.) “Should I give my baby a name?” He questions with a raised brow as he places his chopsticks down on his empty plate, his third helping of the night. Maybe he had overeaten a little bit but he had been starving and goodness knows how long it had been since he last had the chance to eat like this. “Also, you ate just as much as I did-- so why are you teasing me? I find this to be incredibly unfair.”

“Would it be too superficial to buy this with my face on it?” Junmyeon asks in a teasing voice as he holds up the sweatshirt that had a rather large printout on his face, the fabric close to his own cheek as he does his best not to start laughing. Buying a sweatshirt with his own face on it would be a Chanyeol-esque type of move and it was making him snicker behind closed lips, his eyes curled up into a little half moon shape as well. “I mean, I think it would be quite hilarious-- or I could buy one with your face and you with mine? Almost like couples sweatshirts.” It was probably one of the most ridiculous things that had ever come out of his mouth, minus a few of the things said during the reality program EXO Showtime-- but that was in the past, and this is in the now, and because of that ridiculous statement he was becoming closer and closer to breaking out into a fit of laughter.

“Let’s take a picture together.” Junmyeon says in a chipper tone as he points to the cheap wooden cutout across the way, the smell of fresh fish wafting up through the market at the wee hours of the night. Though this place was technically closed, it was rare the two idols ever had enough time to themselves to do any sort of strange adventure, so a fish market after dark seemed like a perfect excuse to maybe have a few drinks and do what they wanted until their schedules restarted early in the morning. “I think it’ll be very hilarious-- we would both be fishermen. So how about it?” He asks with a raised brow as he digs his phone out of the front pocket of his jeans, the slickness of his gloves causing his phone to nearly drop but he manages to catch the device, a hand over his chest as he breathed a sigh of relief. “That was too close for comfort--”

“My legs are sore, I think I’m going to need a long vacation after this.” Junmyeon couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle as he leaned back against the full length mirror of the practice studio, sliding down to the floor with his legs sprawled out before him some. He hadn’t expected Jongdae’s new unit dance to be exhausting. He couldn’t remember even asking to learn or if he had asked, but next thing he knew the both of them were in one of the open practice rooms and ejoying the company of one another while learning the dance. “Why are we doing this again?” He questions the vocalist with a raised brow, bringing up the hem of his shirt to rub some of the sweat away from his face.

“I’m really not sure if I should eat this...” Junmyeon’s teeth were gritting a little bit as he poked at the food on his plate with a fork, his stomach churning just at the sight of what he was going to be forced to eat. “It looks like, uhm, Soojung-ah it kind of looks like slop.” He hadn’t meant to be so harsh, or maybe he honestly did, but the concoction of eggs and god knows what did not look like something that the EXO leader would be able to stomach for long-- if at all. Of course he wanted to encourage the girl to do what she wanted but... not like this. Never like this.

It’s rare that Taeyeon is confiding in another person this way – let alone a junior she isn’t ever really in contact with that often. Yet, she’s here, sitting next to one of the Exo boys behind the SM building, waiting. The cold air causes her to sniffle a bit before she’s looking over at him with raised brows.

“ That’s not true. ” A simple retort that she doesn’t plan to explain further, but she figures he’ll end up trying to convince her that there really isn’t anything wrong with her; she speaks up again, “ No one in this world has nothing wrong with them. Big or small - obvious or hidden, someone has a flaw somewhere. Even me. ”

It seemed like the two situations between both EXO and Girl’s Generation had brought both Junmyeon and Taeyeon together in a way that neither of them had really expected, the leaders confiding in one another against a dirty old bench behind their shared company building. It was rather odd, a rare sight for the both of them, but the male was appreciating what was being shared between them. His eyes had been locked on his knees the entire time, fingers curling into the fabric of his gloves a little bit more as a soft breeze blew through the area. He could hear the girl sniffling and his reaction was automatic, shrugging out of the black windbreaker that he was wearing and draping it across her shoulders without a second thought. 

Junmyeon’s expression all but yelled don’t you even try to question it before he relaxed back against the slightly dirty wood, legs hooking together and arms crossing over his stomach ever so slightly. “It sure doesn’t seem that way, and I’m just being honest.” His tone was sincere along with his words, lips pulling into a tender smile as he finally brought his gaze over to the female. “Sometimes you make it sound like you have so many flaws, and I guess I meant to say that you aren’t as imperfect as you might think you are-- or does that sound worse?” The smile turned into a frown a few seconds later as his eyebrows knitted together some as well, his brain working a mile a minute to backtrack on what he had just said.
