Scream Queen - Linda Blair
Jay Bauman: here’s all the Exorcist spoofs *shows everything but Repossessed*
Me: um...
Jay Bauman: now I’m going to insert scenes from Repossessed into this entire episode
Me: ah there it is
So I am watching Reposessed starring Leslie Nelsien and spotting ALL the scifi references. The most heartbreaking one is at the studio scene and there's a solid block of tv shows with 'new' beside them. All of which are on the Saturday block
petticoat junction,
room 22,
playboy after dark,
dukes of Hazard,
and Lost in Space
Spot the tv shows in the line up below!

I liked the part with the dishwasher.
For a short while I was wondering how I'd never heard of this Leslie Nielsen comedy, but then I watched it. A parody sequel to the exorcist that inexplicably arrived about a decade late. Some good visual gags and the occasional laughably absurd line of dialogue, but overall not the hilarious, undiscovered gem I'd hoped for.
Some of the content had aged quite badly in terms of punching down at minorities and sexual orientations, but other parts had aged badly just by being early 90's parody rap songs or referencing someone from US television that stopped being relevant long before I was born.
Leslie Nielsen spent most of the movie narrating it in a bad German accent instead of actually being in it, and aside from a mildly amusing diversion to a gym he was only really present for the last act of the movie, which also happened to be the worst. Seeing Linda Blair reprise/dismantle her role from The Exorcist was kind of fun, but the novelty quickly wore off.
A few good laughs, but generally pretty bad.
Linda Blair's reaction to just about everything.
