Repousse
This is what I eat with every day
I know this is another “fancier than thou” blog filled with pretty pictures taken in fabulous places. So, if you were wondering what my everyday place setting looks like when I settle down to eat take out pizza and watch Game of Thrones, this is it. First, I’m sitting on the floor at the coffee table in front of the couch. Second, no surprise, I love blue and white, dishes, linens, placemats, you name it. I also love Repousse sterling silver. I’ve had this set for years. And vintage copper wheel engraved glassware. I buy vintage engraved glassware whenever I see it in sets of more than eight stems. We use it constantly and yes, it does break. The gingham napkins are from Target. The dishes are vintage “Beacon Hill” by Hostess Tableware, Staffordshire England. The silver, dishes, and glassware all go in the dishwasher.
