“There’s really nobody else here.”
The dream had been vivid, so vivid he could barely grasp that it hadn’t been real. The bedroom was dark too, which didn’t help him understand reality any better and even if he did, he was unsure whether he could shake this feeling anyway, which was the worst part. He felt disturbed and shaken by what his own mind had thought up.
He pushed the blankets away--even though he was trembling and wanted to remain under the warmth of them--and reached out to grab his wand. “Lumos,” he whispered, which instantly lit up the space around him, so he could see Credence properly. “It was just a bad dream.”
