Sorry it's taking so long on all these reqs, I suck I know. Tbh with guys I've been really focusing on the Future yandere Raph one-shot part of Yandere Future Turtle's series I've got going on forever now. It's killing me. Like I can't tell you guys how many drafts I've scrapped in the last two months. Thoooouugh now; I think I've got the plot I like soooo hopefully I can get that out soon😅. “What's that?” Arthur asked as they peaked to see what the 6-foot ginger was looking at in the beaten-up cardboard box. Hannibal looked behind his shoulder to look down at the middle-aged man who held puppy eyes.

“Its..." The ginger looked down at the album in his hands, contemplating his next move. “Its an album from my dirty old house.” he chuckled as he turned his dusty brown-haired boyfriend.

Today was the day they finally moved in together as a couple. Hannibal was just as excited as Arthur that they had both decided to commit this way to each other, but there was an underlining motivate. The fact that Penny was in the hospital and when Hannibal would visit Arthur in the now much emptier apartment, he could see the bleakness in his eyes and how it became apparent after a few minutes his mental health was deteriorating was what caused this decision; to keep him safe.

His plan after getting settled in would be getting Arthur his desperately needed medicine. Hannibal remembered when he mumbled out that he couldn't get them anymore because of city budget cuts while they were cuddling but that information left his mind until now. Seeing the empty bottles in the bathroom made him feel sick as a dog from guilt. How long had he been without? Who else had ignored his pleads for help?

The ginger pulled out the black, dusty disk out of the weak cardboard container.

“Wanna hear it?" Hannibal asked as he faced the family's old record player, a glimmer of enthusiasm in the boy's brown eyes at the thought of how Arthur would react to this genre of music. He was 100% sure that Penny would have never let him listen to something that people like her would describe as "devil music". As narcissistic as it sounded, he was hyped to let this 35-year-old man experience something new with him in the privacy of the home they now could share together and make their own. Arthur nodded as he fiddled with his hands while he let out a small shy smile while Hannibal placed the disk on the player, slowly increasing the volume of it until it was perfect.

“What's the name of this?”

“Sad wing of density" answered the ginger as he took Arthur's boney hands into his as he swayed him to the beat of the song, head on top of his.

“When was this released?”

“1976.”

“I wonder why I never heard this... I would have been 27 when it came out..”

“Do you at least like this?”

Arthur nodded into the other's chest as he began to hum with the song. At least he was stable enough to enjoy this moment, but Hannibal was still worried about what time Arthur had left until he flew off the rails and did something that this seemingly gentle & kind man would so something he knew he would never think of doing if he was on his medication. At least they could have this sweet moment before tragedy would strike its ugly head in the Fleck family and take away Hannibal's sunshine forever. But hey, that's life.
