Hi! Here’s a prompt request for whenever. 😃 Can I have a theme of stars? No telescope, just lying in the dark staring up at them. A bit somber and a bit of reminiscing about it all the things that brought them to this point in their life.

Themed Monday #10

Stars:

1) "You see those stars up there?" Character A asked, pointing up at the pin-pricked sky above them. "They sparkle, just to light your way home."

2) "All those stars," Character A murmured, laying their head back onto the damp grass, the chirping of crickets the only other sound for miles around. "All those universes, all those galaxies... Makes you feel kinda small, doesn't it?"

3) "How did we get here?" character A questioned, stretching, before folding their arms behind their head. "Somehow, everything that has happened in our lives has led us here, to this very moment, looking up into the pitch-black sky. How? How did we manage to make it through everything?"

4) The world could have been falling apart, ending at the drop of a hat. Everything could have been finishing in a flash of blinding colour, it wouldn't have mattered though, because we were there, together, staring up into the unending sea of sky, and we were happy. That was all I cared about.

5) "One day, I'll get there..."

"Where?"

"The stars."

I saw the request. I’d like to contributed. I would like a theme on four friends going on a dangerous adventure with minimal access to fancy technology. Maybe a bit of sarcasm or sass involved? Or a bit of sadness/exciting moments?

Hmm, you've given me quite the challenge here... But here's my attempt at some prompts focusing on a group of friends on an adventure with minimal access to modern technology... Hope this helps! Themed Monday #9

Group Adventure:

1) The river was deep and rushing, rapids bruising the few sandy banks visible here and there. The group of friends stood staring down at the water pounding past them, wrapping their arms around themselves as they imagined just how cold it was.

"We have to cross it," Character A muttered, voice barely loud enough to be heard over the lapping water.

"Okay," Character B replied, nudging Character A forward, "you first then."

"Yeah, Character A," Character C added with a roll of their eyes. "You were always going on in school about how good you were at swimming; best in the class, you used to say! Well, now's your chance to show off your skills, huh?

2) Crawling out the entrance of the torn tent, Character B pulled themselves upright and walked slowly to Character A, sitting down beside them. Their face was partially hidden in shadow, but by the low light of the crackling camp fire Character B could still tell they had been crying. For a while, the two of them were quiet, watching the fire spitting glowing embers into the pitch black sky.

"It's my fault," Character A finally broke the silence with a sniff. "I should have stopped them-"

"Oh shut up Character A," Character B interrupted them abruptly, as Character A buried their head into their arms, their shoulders shaking. "It's not your fault and you know it... We all knew what we were signing up for..."

3) "Oh my god! We're gonna die!"

"We're not going to die, calm down."

"I'm too young and beautiful to die!"

"Seriously, someone slap them, please!"

4) "[name], call your mum, tell them where we are, tell them [name]'s hurt, tell them-"

"Um, [name]..."

"What?!"

"No phone signal..."

5) The friends gathered together, wrapping their arms around one another, pulling each other closer as the snow fell around them.

"Hey," Character A shivered, mist escaping from their blue lips.

"What?" Character B muttered sharply, teeth chattering noisily.

"I love you guys..."

"Shut up, you idiot," Character B replied, feigning annoyance while resting their head against Character A's gently.

In your family, it is strictly forbidden for anyone to go into the basement, your parents being the only ones allowed down there. One day, while home alone, you realise they have left the door slightly open, and curiosity gets the best of you. When you head down the stairs, you find weapons lining the walls, as well as strange writing and texts. When you finally reach the main area of the basement, you’re confronted by a door way in the middle of the room, glowing and swirling from within. It releases a constant low humming sound. 

Hearing a soft scuffing sound, you feel your heart stop for a moment, terrified that your stern and somewhat scary parents have caught you. Upon turning towards the noise however, you find frightened and pained eyes meeting yours. Someone sits cramped in a cage that is far too small for their tall frame, clutching a wound that oozes a glittering silvery blood. You can tell before you even see the blood, that they are far from human.

“P-please....help me...or kill me... just. Please.” They rasp out painfully.

I think you should write a drabble in which Uruha would throw a Rilakkuma bear out the window.

Ruki calls it 'Rilakkuma,' but Uruha can't help but call such a thing 'ridiculously creepy.'

Uruha didn't see what was so special about the stuffed toy he noticed Ruki develop such an interest in. He never would have thought selling bears as tour goods would pave a path to lead towards his interest in Rilakkuma. Of all things.

Uruha could deal with the small keychain set, house slippers - even the occasional miniature plush he found when he accidentally sat on it when he planned to nap on his couch.

But waking up next to an oversized Rilakkuma plush as it stared at him with its beady eyes and set expression was the last straw.

"Fucking Christ," Uruha groaned with a glare, instantly snatching the plush against his groggy state and walking over to the window, opening it abruptly. He ignored the calls of his name, the thrthreatening "don't you fucking dare toss it out the fucking window" and pushed the majority of the plush's body through it anyway, leaning to see how far of a fall the plush had.

"Kouyou!"

Uruha couldn't help but try to muffle the bubble of laughter at the surprised shriek of his name tumbling from Ruki's lips, the vocalist's eyes wide with settling shock as he watched Uruha dangle the plush toy from the window.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
