Howdy there friends, long time no chat! We’re so very sorry for the lack of activity coming both from the main and the admin teams characters. We know that the Holiday’s are not only one of the busiest time of the year but also one of the most stressful and time consuming. Because of that we’ve been very easy going for the sake of not only your mental health but ours as well. Roleplaying is for fun and RiP has always embodied our belief that this should be a safe place.
That being said over the course of the next few days the admin team is going to be making a few changes to the main in regards to the plot and we will be working on getting some posts out on our characters. We would love to encourage you all to do the same. Starting on January 2nd, 2018 we will be looking for a “fresh” start from a plot stand point. But what does that mean for you? I’m glad you asked. :)
Firstly, we would like to see activity going back up, and that doesn’t mean just for you guys but for as us well. Our activity guideline has always been very relaxed at one post a week. We will hold our first check of the new year on January 12th. If this will not be enough time to get back into the swing of things for you please message the main with a request for a hiatus extension with a date of return.
Secondly, since no roleplaying has really been going for the last six weeks we’re going to leave it up to you guys on what you would have liked to happen for your character/s. Did they change jobs? Move? Just message the main via the inbox or messenger to let the admin team know what’s you decide. Likewise if you wish to drop any characters please message the main with that decision.
The final announcement we would like to make is that some of you may know that Rodolphus Lestrange was assassinated on November 30th, 1978 for our timeline. The two heads of the Revolt are now Evan Rosier and Bellatrix Lestrange. With the loss of Rodolphus the two have had to up their appearances to the Dark Lord but have also decided to open the Revolt recruiting up. That being said if anyone can see a logical reasoning and wishes to have their characters join the Revolt, please message the main. These will be handled on a case by case basis and for the sake of keeping the sides alive we will have to deny multiple ‘big hitters’ from leaving their sides.
