Infuriated would have insulted the capacity of the emotion he felt as he watched Lucinda slip away while bodies pushed him opposite. The image replayed in his head, now, as he stood on the carpet of his living room. It was reckless and inefficient, and he has clearly opposed the idea. The dangers that both surrounded her, Emma, and himself only amplified when separated. In that moment, her appearance before him did not bring about the same curiosity as her presence normally did. Instead, his voice was low, keeping the spike in his words, just beneath his collar; pushed down and presentable. She seemed unharmed on the surface, he didn’t bother with formalities. “I told you not to go alone. We lose the ability to communicate information properly when separated. If you got hurt, or I got hurt without the other there, we would have been useless to Emma. You’re smart, Lucinda. I expected much more from you.” He wondered in that moment, her track record with tasks given to her by their alliance. Were planned attacks more suited, was the chaos what pushed her into a different a head space. He doubted the later, knowing full well her capabilities; but that didn’t stop his opinion that their chances of survival in such a situation would have benefit from remaining together.
The evening sun waned into the creeping darkness of the night, and as the fire burst into the sky, Caradoc had found himself in the middle of a cacophony of noise he hadn’t been prepared for. Music came from...somewhere that he couldn’t quite pinpoint, and there was food being passed around that he’d politely declined a multitude of times. He had a bottle of water in hand, a choice he’d made without much effort. Drinking had never been his style, and even when he did, he had a hard time stomaching even the lightest lager. He felt a hand latch on to his arm, and he blinked rapidly as he was pulled toward a group of people dancing. “Oi! I’m not-“ fat lot of good the protest did him, as he was shoved into the melee.
“Well you’re in charge of me tonight. What’s first of the list?” Her brows knitted together as the brunette turned to the person who would be her commander for the night, lips pursed in concentration as she waited for an answer. “Well?”
dare: tell the next person you talk to a secret you've never told anyone
“A secret? I don’t have many I’m not legally obligated to keep but I’m sure I can dig up some childhood anecdote.”

Andromeda was slightly confused at who the bottle decided to land on however she wasn’t complaining. She was drunk and she always gets a bit handsy when she drinks, no matter what gender the person seemed to be. However she was a married woman so she would have to keep the kiss to a mere peck on the lips for the sake of her sanity. “Lucinda!!” The girls voice slurred in a slightly sing song voice as she stood up and sauntered over to the fellow witch. a slight giggle fell from her lips as she let herself fall into the girl’s lap and grabbed her cheeks in her hands and tilted her head. “You’re pretty.” She grinned.

To say Lucius was slightly enraged he had to kiss a mudblood was an understatement. it went against every fiber of his moral code and the anger boiled below his skin as he watched the bottle land on her. “Bloody hell.” He groaned out loud before he looked up at the witch. A long swig of his alcohol was taken before he tossed the bottle aside and used his finger to beckon Mary close and pointed to the spot right in front of him. “Come. Now.”
Andromeda had been so lost in her thoughts along with the drink she had been nursing for most of the evening when the first sound shot off. She had grown quite familiar with the workings of muggle culture and things that happened within their world as a result of marrying Ted, to know the sound when the first shot went off. “Fuck!” Her eyes widened in surprise at first and she dropped the bottle on instinct. Quickly she got to her feet and took off, pulling her wand out and grabbing the arm of the closest person to her. “We’ve got to get out of here!”
