Noticing some posts floating by and thinking maybe I'm ready for a reread soon?

Then the immensity of it, and the grief, hits me again and I realize that no, three years is not enough time to do a reread.

But I'll get back to Discworld at some point.

One of the funniest scenes in the Skulduggery series to me is still when there was this introduction of a new young male character (Hans or what was his name?) and my manipulated brain immediately went ahh him and Val are gonna have a thing eh? and then Valkyrie actually starts flirting with him and he just ... he’s not interested. He’s polite and nice and likeable but he’s just not into Valkyrie. And Valkyrie is pretty embarrassed at first but then just rolls with it and all the relationship-shit I thought was about to go down just evaporated into thin air. It was one of the best reading experiences of my life

Honestly the fake Series of Unfortunate Events trailer is the best marketing strategy I’ve ever seen and I have such high hopes for the show now.

It obviously isn’t from the 2004 movie and it’s way too good to have been made by an amateur and despite copyright Netflix won’t take it down and like....think. If I was making a book series about a secret society and hidden clues into a TV show, this would be something I’d do.
