There are tons of posts of this kind and everyone (EVERYONE) in those calls us weirdos and pedos.
I can assure you we're not.
I've never seen Tintin as a teenager, even when I was eleven myself. I've always seem him as older than me, because he did tons of things that I couldn't do because I was too young. Think about it, if he was a teenager not only he wouldn't own guns or a car, but he also would be in an orphanage (since parents are not to be seen) until he turns 21 (which was the age of maturity back in 1930s).
I also had never seen Haddock as a sixty years old either; he could be in his forties or early fifties, but not sixty because he'd have lots of white hair. I get why you all think Haddock is older, but may I remind you of the fact that sea wind doesn't help aging like fine wine? Even Native Americans who were in their forties (in 1800s or so) looked like they were in their seventies, but just because they were constantly exposed to wind.
When I was fourteen people thought I was twenty and now that I'm eighteen someone thought I was around fourteen (or even younger); you can look of a totally different age compared to your actual age. Tintin is called baby-faced assassin in the movie, it means he looks young.
Said this, we're not weirdos who like pedo, because I know what is wrong and what is right. I know that a teenager with a forty years old wouldn't be good, but I'm sorry to tell you that you're living in denial because Tintin can't be a teenager and: own guns, drive a car, drive planes, have such a job, have his own apartment, being unsupervised most of the time...
Stop calling us weirdos and pedos, because we're not and that's really offensive
