Resurrected: Anna
[Ira's truck comes to a slow stop in front of the Wolfe cottage, but even as the key is removed from the ignition, he stays with Anna in the cab for a moment. She's staring out the window at the familiar house with a nostalgic smile, and her husband can't help but watch her with the same type of tone, only with a more pensive feeling underneath. As she turns her head back at him, he switches his gaze, too, looking forward through the windshield.]
Are you okay?
[The question makes his eyebrows rise, glancing back at her as if not expecting it.] Yes. Don't I look okay?
[Anna's lips part to say something, but close for a moment longer to look at him closer. She feels something amiss, dramatically so, and it pains her to know there's something being kept from her. Gently, her hand reaches out to wrap around his larger one, smoothing over the roughened skin. It brings a sense of comfort to her to have the metal band still around his finger beneath her touch.] You know that I love you, don't you?
[His blue eyes are brought back to her brown ones, but they only last for so long before they drop to their hands. This is something he's dreamed about for nearly a decade, but how can he accept it without fearing it'll be yanked under his feet like all the other times? This time, it's different, but it can't be avoided in his mind. For her sake, he forces a smile, giving a short nod.] Let's go.
[Anna's hand is left by itself as Ira gets out, closing the door. Her lips press against each other into a small frown before her door opens by him. She'd do anything to have that closeness again, but for now she's home.] My gentleman. [She tries to tease, causing Ira's face to pale slightly as he keeps his eyes back on the cottage they're walking towards until ringing the doorbell.]
