@resxlute
{♞} Cobalion had his back against the bark of a tree with eyes closed. He was attempting to meditate, something most of his co-workers (and Virizion) suggested to him, claiming it would help “lower his stress”. He didn’t think he was stress, sleep deprived and overworked yes, but not stressed. Despite his opinion on the matter, the musketeer reluctantly submitted to their desires.
A gentle breeze blew about him, blowing strands of his hair about. His chest rose and fell as he tried to control his breathing. It seemed that he was meditating, but inside, Cobalion was restless. He was listening to every sound around him, body tensed as if he would be attacked any moment.
Suddenly, Cobalion moved. With sudden speed, he unsheathed his sword and turned towards the east. Gold hues glared.
“Come out slowly before I make you come out.”
@resxlute
{♞} “Let’s see, did he say to take a left at the next street then a right, or was it take a left then a right? Wait, is this even the right street? Ugh!” The colt sighed in frustration as he wandered the streets of Castelia City. He was on his way to collect a package for Cobalion. He sent Keldeo on his own. His own! He rarely ever lets Keldeo out of his sight, on the account he thinks Keldeo wouldn’t be able to handle it or get lost.
...Well, he was right (not that he’d ever admit that to Cobalion). The poor colt was lost. He had been in the city for some time now, and yet it was all so foreign to him still. Back in the forests, he knew everything down to even the smallest pebble. But here, it was a nightmare. It was times like this he wished to return to the woods. But he wasn’t going to give up, not yet!
Suddenly, Keldeo’s thoughts were interrupted as his body collided with another, causing both to fall. Keldeo yelled out in pain as he landed on his rear onto the hard pavement. He wanted to get angry at the other person, but technically it was his fault for not looking. He slowly got up and approached the other person. Holding his hand out for them to take.
“Hey, I’m sorry about running into you. Here, let me help you up.”
“Kel! Kel!! I got something I want your help with!” Prepare to get roped into their shenanigans as usual, Keldeo.
@resxlute
“Not many people stopped to listen, did they? Do you think we should try to be flashier? I could do that firework trick or something... oh, but then people might pay more attention to that than to the music...”
Examine! Keldeo
Send “Examine!” and an item or person and I’ll write an RPG description of it/them.
KELDEO: One of the Swords of Justice; his secondary weapon is the ukulele. Also your best friend, and the best friend in Unova, if not the whole world!
@resxlute
“Kel, Kel! Look! I’ve been practicing this, just watch!” They shout in lieu of a greeting as their friend walks in, pulling their gloves off and stuffing them in a pocket before rubbing their hands together, pulling them back to a foot apart, and squeezing their eyes shut in concentration. The prickle of static fills the air, and in the space between their hands, the shape of a star lights up like a firework and quickly fizzles back into nothing, followed shortly by a crack of thunder. When it’s over, a grin splits their face and they peek an eye open to see Keldeo’s reaction.
“I still haven’t figured out how to hold it, but it’s cool, isn’t it?! It works just like lightning, and I learned how to control the path all the electricity goes through. It’s still kinda hard, but imagine how amazing it’ll be when I work on it more! Maybe I’ll actually be able to make that lightning sword!”
@resxlute I wanted to draw Kel. Viri’s training sessions are the worst.
