but i don't talk about it ever because i figure people would find me childish for doing such things. 

another thing that i really like that people don't expect me to is sweets and i can go on about those too but i won't. 

Talk about things you wish you'd known earlier.

today i just full of that, isn't it? i kind of wish that when i was younger that i listened, specifically to someone who means a lot to me and had a lot to with who i am as a person. simply because, this person never wanted me to be alone. yet, even after enrolling in the academy and being put on a team, i always questioned i had any friends, even though this person basically gave up his life so that i could have them. 

what i'm trying to say is, i regret not accepting friendship, i regret doubt it, i regret everytime i shrugged off someone because i was too scared to figure out if they actually liked me or not. 

i was a lonely child but that was in part, my fault for being anxious and afraid, for thinking that nobody would ever want me in any kind of way. that i'd grow up and my only friend would be my father and the insects i raise alone in the garden. 

it wasn't true though, and everything i better. everything is so much more clear. i'm not alone, i'm not ignored, i'm surrounded by people i admire and care for and i feel better. even if i could be closer to others than i am now, even a small subtle connection to someone else who's human is welcomed and warm and nice.

i've heard that once you quit, your health can eventually return to a state similar to before you even started smoking.

it varies case to case and my hopes for myself arent too high but yeah maybe in the really long run ill end up okay
