Hi, Peter! I've seen you write some very sweet letters to a lot of my friends, and I just wanted to A) say thank you for making them so happy and B) sort of return the favor! (Or try to) I just really appreciate how sweet and excited you are about everything, how your smile could light up a room--no, an entire city! I also love your enthusiasm and your slight awkwardness, because I'm not very different from you in those areas! 😁 You're just a ray of sunshine wherever you go, ya know? 💜💜💜
Nonnie, I… I don’t know what to say :) Thank you so much for these sweet words. It means a lot to get a letter back from someone who has seen friends affected by my letters. And don’t worry about your awkwardness. It makes you who you are and without it you wouldn’t be as amazing as you are. Because even as an anon, I know that the person who wrote this is amazing ;)

I just wanna say, Peter kinda stresses about these letters sometimes. He’s worried he’ll say the wrong thing or that someone might get offended by a misunderstanding. To know that his letters are being received happily really does mean a lot to him. I don’t add much to them often enough to stress a lot, but even just the bits I do write make me cross my fingers in the hopes that they’re taken the right way. So thank you Nonnie :) It means a lot, to both of us.

How close have you gotten to dying, other than from the aforementioned Beefalo
Close to dying? Hah! I’ve died more times than I can count. Sometimes in…less than graceful ways.
The island seems pretty depressing, but is there anything about it you like?
Of course! It wouldn’t be much of a home if I couldn’t find something to like about it.
Spring is very nice, even with the rain. Many of the friendly animals are adorable. I know Wilson is very fond of Chester, and we all love him. I enjoy Glommer’s company when it is around, since it was the first companion I made when I came here.
The other survivors probably make it the most bearable. Wilson is... a very nice man, and he’s saved me many times. Wigfrid is also a wonderful friend. Some of them I even knew before this- I hadn’t thought I would ever see Wolfgang again after we last parted. I even enjoy Maxwell’s company.
Being cut off from society has some other benefits, too.
More times than I can count! Though not being able to die was probably worse.
How did you meet the other survivors?
Most of them I encountered while traveling around this strange world. I met Willow first, and we traveled together and slowly gathered more survivors together.I found Wes in a box.
Wil Wil Wil Wil Wil Wilson the science guy
Willow, huh? ;;;;;)))))
…
Yes. Like I said, she’s a valuable companion and friend. A friend. We're friends.
