Just two days away from one of my favorite races of the year. Paris Roubaix, “The Hell of the North”.
Who can win it this year?
My favorite is last years winner Peter Sagan. Sagan has been struggling so far this season, but I think he has been improving each race and he is hungry to taste victory. Don’t get me wrong he is still far from his best, will it be enough to see him take victory in the Roubaix velodrome? I think so.
My outside bet is Sep Vanmarcke. The Belgian riding for EF education first has been in great form so far this season. He gave a great showing at last weeks tour of Flanders. Getting away from the peloton eventually getting reeled back in before Bettiol’s victorious attack.
No matter who takes victory in the famous velodrome I am sure as always it will be an awesome race and the hell of the North will keep us all entertained.
