Hello there! Still enjoying your posts.A small request could you expand more on the shoes that Geisha wear? I'd like to see more, especially as I want to try to make some Okobo :)

May I ask of you the names of different type of shoes that geisha wear? I'd like to ask my Father to make me some but I need to give him reference pictures... actually if you have any pictures I'd be grateful. So, the kind on the picture is called Okobo. these shoes can be pretty high (especially for misedashi)

Another kind is Zori. they're rather flat sandals made of wood and rice straw. but they still look elegant, though.

3rd kind: Geta. usually worn by geikos. when you walk in geta, it sounds funny, like click-clock, click-clock :D also, ordinary people wear geta.
