For your Lavellan!! Blackwall 5, Solas 2 and 4, Vivienne 2 and Dorian 4 👀
In reference to this inquisitor + companions ask game! (I am still happy to answer any more of these if anyone else wants to send me some :3 )
Blackwall 5: Did they remain in contact with him after the events of Trespasser?
So this is both a yes and no answer. Revasanni entered into a pretty bad mental space after Trespasser and had trouble maintaining any friendships because of that. Blackwall tried to keep in touch and keep tabs on her, but after about 5 years, any semblance of their closer friendship became more of one of those friendships where you don't see each other for years at a time but still see each other as friends when you do because of your shared history. With the inquisition disbanded and Blackwall moving on, eventually the letters stopped entirely. He did find out through a letter from Dorian about her decision to go into the fade with Solas and had complicated feelings about how he would never get to see her again, but eventually accepted it as he knew she never wanted to be involved with the inquisition to start with and at least now she could be with Solas again.
Solas 2: Did they agree with his opinions about spirits, that they were friends and trustworthy? If not, what did your inquisitor believe instead?
Short answer, yes. Long answer, Revasanni's grandmother was a keeper and made sure that all of the children in their clan understood about how spirits function so they would have a proper respect for them. She very much did not enjoy the process of having to kill a bunch of demons at the rifts because she knew there was a pretty good chance they were just regular spirits who became corrupted after being forced through the rift. She also encouraged Solas on killing the mages who summoned his wisdom spirit friend which led to that spirit being corrupted because she was getting ready to kill them herself at that point and thought it wouldn't be fair for her to do it instead of Solas. She highly enjoyed being allowed to ask Solas as many questions about the fade and spirits as she could, because she found them fascinating, and there was a lot of information her grandmother would only share with other mages, so she never got to learn those things as a rogue hunter.
Solas 4: Did your Inquisitor think of Solas as Fen’harel or did they continue to think of him as their companion, a friend, if he was one to them, even after discovering who he was?
Okay so, Revasanni actually figured out Solas was an ancient elf before Trespasser because she spent a lot of time re-playing every interaction she had with him or overheard him have with others to try and see if there were any clues to why he took off after the breach was closed or where he went. She figured it out based on his interactions with Abelas at the temple of Mythal. By the time she realized that he was Fen'harel, she had already come to terms with the fact that the history she was taught was not an accurate representation of how history played out. She will always see him as just Solas because that is the man she fell in love with, but she also recognizes that Fen'harel (and later understands that Wisdom too) is a part of what makes him Solas. She never stops loving him, and even when she was confused about him leaving the first time and then angry that he would not let her join his quest to tear down the veil, she knows that he is still the same person deep down.
Vivienne 2: Did your inquisitor view The Game as worthwhile or did they detest court intrigue? How did that affect their relationship with Vivienne?
Very fun question lol. Revasanni fucking HATES everything to do with The Game and basically had to be forced to go to the Orleasan ball and then spent the entire time wanting to punch everyone in their stupid masked faces. That is one of the reasons why she never got along well with Vivienne. In theory she understands that playing The Game is necessary, but on the other hand, she thinks the entire thing is one big sham and anyone who enjoys it is a "better than thou" asshole trying to take advantage of other people. She does eventually become work acquaintances with Vivienne, but they more act polite for the sake of not causing direct confrontations.
Dorian 4: Was Dorian a good companion for your Inquisitor? Was there any personality clash between them?
Her relationship with Dorian was very slow to build, mostly due to 1) him being a human, 2) him being from Tavinter, elf slavery capital of Thedas, and 3) they did have a slight clash of personality since he is an outgoing city boy and she is much more reserved Dalish elf. Once the trust did start to build (mostly after she spent a stupid amount of time miserable with him, the Ironbull, and Cole on the storm coast getting lost, and then Solas thoroughly tearing him down over slavery until he began a deep self refection about life and freedom), he became one of the very few humans in the inquisition who she fully trusted with her life in battle and with any information about herself (the only other two being Blackwall after the Thom reveal, and Krem). After Solas took off, Dorian became her right hand mage up until Trespasser when the Inquisition was disbanded.
That was so much lol but thank you for sending the ask!
