Revision Session || Alec & Jaxon
Exam's week; two words that every student, muggle or wizard, hates. The sleepless nights spent sitting at a desk in the library or the common room, forcing trivial facts about potions or ancient wars into their already filled minds. Or maybe it's the stress that makes people hate it, whatever the reason it's never a good time, and certainly not a time you should have to go through alone.
So that's why Alec had owled Jaxon that morning, asking the boy to meet him in the entrance hall. He had suggested the pair revise together, and as it's summer they should sit outside, by the lake. As Alec watched his owl leave the window he hoped that Jaxon would agree to it. It had only been a few days since he had last spoke to the person he considered his best friend, but even that was too long.
So as he had stated in the letter, Alec was waiting in the entrance hall at 12:30 that afternoon, perched on the banister and bewitching bits of paper to hit stressed out first years in the head. He only stopped when he saw Jaxon walking down the grand staircase towards him. "Glad you could make it Dunbar" Alec commented, sending one last paper ball in the other boys direction.
