Super Update to the Rescue!
So...where to begin. First off check out the new, very simple, layout of my blog now - with a new about section. There is also a new section that I have titled Revolutionary Pop. It will serve as an antithesis to Hypno Pop (don't worry, more explanations to come). Throughout the time I have run this blog I think my vision of what it is supposed to be has constantly vacillated and because of this constant wavering and my hurricane-like life I haven't been the best blogger/writer that I could be. From now on I will constantly be filling you in on why this blog is called Hypno Pop and I will also be updating at most once a day. However, please bear in mind that tumblr is not my life and that I have a million other projects that I am doing as well as work. So - for all the tumblr snobs that expect an endless array of reblogs and nonsensical writing...well don't expect it from me. For those of you that have stuck around and have followed me all this time I guess I should explain a bit about why I have been so out of touch with tumblr and life:
Basically - relationships are hard; any type of real connection that occurs between two people is difficult and sometimes one can get lost in it. That's what happened to me. I became lost in the soul-wrenching process of becoming and I did not bother myself with being. Being the person that I am was no longer a priority for me, as becoming the person that parts of my mind would like me to become took precedence.
I was lost but now, thankfully, I am found and I have a reignited vigor for life, passion, and above all, writing. Thins blog will continue to document my writings, my travels, and my advent into an agent for social change. I thank all of you for sticking around and I hope to continuously be in touch.
Also I had a tumblr cleanse and unfollowed any blog that wasn't relevant to creative writing, philosophy, or art. Please don't take any offense - but my dash was becoming increasingly frightening to look at, it got to the point where I just gave up and couldn't pay attention to writers and rather got lost in the mire that is tumblr.
I hope all of you are well and I look forward to reading all your work, as usual.
