Cole's little dance:

He was burying that part of himself for so long. And despite what he initially says, I don't think he actually hates dancing. I think he hates feeling like a disappointment. Because Cole's greatest disappointment came from a dancing fail, he equated the two in his mind.

But now that he knows his dad is proud of him? Cole can't hold himself back from dancing, finally allowing himself to express that secret part of himself after years of hiding it.
