🐓 today i saw a great spotted woodpecker for the first time in years so I decided to draw it.

I‘m always in-between art styles and mediums and I‘m trying to teach myself to be okay with that. I always think I should stay with one style and one medium so everything is concise and looks the same. But that‘s impossible for me to keep up and I do more art when I actually allow myself to do the art that comes to my mind.

So today I don‘t have a kid-lit fantasy drawing in muted autumn colours and decorated with rough paper texture but a hand-drawn one that‘s more realistic in colour and style ♡
