Part 1: Dawn! I had this really cool idea/headcanon about something that happens to Rhys in the Silent Hill AU. I know that it's really debatable how much Silent Hills PT is connected to the rest of the franchise, but I was watching a playthrough of the first Silent Hill game and it just got me thinking. What if as Rhys is walking through the town, he spots what he thinks is Jack across the street from him (like when Harry thinks he sees Cheryl).
Part 2: Alarmed and intrigued, Rhys tries to follow him, eventually ending up in some back alleyways. As he continues through, the alleyways morph into a hallway in Rhys and Jack’s old house. The first time Rhys goes through the hallway, it looks clean and pristine, like it did before Jack’s mental health started slip. As he starts to reach the end of the hallway, he hears Jack’s voice laughing, as if he was talking to someone on the phone (maybe Nisha).
Part 3: Rhys approaches the door at the end, opening it and expecting to see Jack, only to be lead right back into the hallway. As Rhys keeps making more laps around the hallway, it starts to look dirtier and messier; beer bottles, old food, clothes lying around. There are now holes in the wall where Jack punched when he lost his temper.
Part 4: At one point, on the radio someone is reading either Jack’s obituary (because Jack was well known around town) or the report of what happened leading up to Jack’s death. Rhys, who is starting to breakdown, reaches the last lap in the hallway. As he opens the door one last time, Jack is standing there, looking just like how Rhys remembers him before he tried to kill him and says something along the lines of “I’ve missed you, cupcake.”
Part 5: Rhys, who places a lot of blame on himself regarding Jack’s death, reaches out to hug him, only to have Jack vanish again with a laugh. I really love this whole AU, and I love the whole concept behind it! Keep up the awesome work!

Oh my God this is so great and just????? AH WOW I’m in love with this idea!!! I did start working on the fic and I very well mayyyyyyy include something pretty similar to this because it just represents their whole situation SO WELL like damn ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
