Elevator Malfunction.

Her last assignment ended on a peculiar note, and her sudden transfer only added to her suspicions. And so, her inner turbulence prompted the reopening of an old, unsolved case. So there she was, back in South Korea, and following what little leads she got, and subsequently, walking into a shabby old building, which to her surprise, had a functioning elevator.
She stepped into the tiny cubicle of an elevator, holding the door for another person to follow into the small space. It was clearly an outdated model, one with doors that swung open, and the little fence gates one had to manually slide closed before the elevator could move. She did all of that before pressing on the button leading to the fifth floor, then quirked a brow and smiled at the taller stranger, “which floor?”
