More doodling! This time of Rhazgor, another of Ash’s robots and also the very first pet I ever applied for, all the way back in 2010. His design hasn’t really changed much over the years - mostly just a few tiny tweaks here and there, since I’m fond of his Megaman-inspired design. His antennae are also just really fun to draw.

He was built initially for security purposes before being stolen and reprogrammed by Ash, and now serves to guard her ship and prevent people from sneaking in. He takes his duties very seriously and acts coldly towards basically everyone, including his “family”. Ash could program it out of him if she wanted to, but she finds it endearing, and knows he cares deep down. Probably.

He’s also a Darigan Aisha and not actually painted robot on-site! I just enjoyed taking various pet colours and making them robotic back in the day, and all my other robot pets are the same way (except for one who’s literally just a robot techo).

For comparison’s sake, here are my most recent drawings of my robo-pets along with how they looked circa (roughly) 2009. 

Their original story was that they were all built by an initially well-meaning roboticist who eventually grew paranoid to the point that he felt like he needed an elaborate security system comprised of four robots - Gyro, who specialised in brute strength; Rhazgor, who would patrol and survey the area with his large antennae; Skut, whose tiny size meant he was perfect for spying; and Wire, who was a last resort and was fitted with powerful weapons and the ability to run along walls and ceilings. 

Since creating Ashrynne, they’re tied in with her story now instead - she stole them from various sectors on the Virtupets space station and essentially gave them free will, so now they hang around with her and act as her bodyguards. Though Ash tends to act aloof around them when she’s showing off to Chip, she’s close to her robot family.
