I think it was the "typical guy joke" angle in intent, and I think Rhett touching his nose was more of an anxious confused thing, not an intentional gesture. I'm all for trying to view it from multiple angles to figure out what they mean, they say a lot of confusing things after all, but... it's not mind reading to understand someone's words. Sometimes you don't need to try to find something else it could have been, what he meant was clear, as you said. A speculation I had was that he might have meant out of his options of sexual partners/encounters, but I honestly think it was mostly just a self/wife-deprecating not-getting-much joke. Which on a side note is not a look that suits him imo! I don't like the wife jokes.

I agree. I lean on the possibility that it was just a "don't get any" dudebro joke he didn't think over. I am not sure how intentional Rhett's gesture was but he was definitely not very happy with Link's joke, which is suspicious because we know he would typically laugh immediately if this joke came from anyone else.
