You know.. this might sound silly saying, but..
You know.. this might sound silly saying, but..
..after watching Avatar the Last Airbender again, I’ve kind of refound myself. I know the show can be a bit silly, but in the long run it teaches a lot of really valuable lessons.. I’m kind of being sucked back into the story world, but instead of letting to take hold and have me forget my whole life and slack on things, I’m using it to unstress myself -- it’s kind of calming. I was born a dreamer, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop being one.
The whole spiritual aspect of Avatar has strangely let me reconnect with my own self. I don’t much believe in Gods, but I do believe in spirits. It’s helped me calm myself down when I’ve been overstressed or upset, and let me deal with my sexuality dilemma. I don’t much like the idea of men and women. If it were my choice, I would wish for my soul to show and nothing else. It’s very easy to be attracted to someone physically, but very hard to find a connection deep in both of your souls. It’s something I’ve been craving more and more, and I would be happy searching many life times to find that kind of connection. I would wait an eternity.
I wish I could learn with nothing but the clothes on my back. Explore the world and help people. To be an adventurer.. That’s what I feel like I was born to do. If only the world would allow me..
