Yes, I think it’s highly likely they’re being targeted by hackers--by their own admission. As far as the password issue, if you know you’re being hacked, one would have the tendency to come up with a better, stronger password.  And if it happens twice I would imagine it may not be a password strength issue (I had my Wi-Fi password compromised, and it was a strange random 5-word sentence with numbers and characters).

I really think that  @staff could step in and help out. Gray-Card is a valuable asset here, and this could be a great way to show they’re committed to users and the photo community. However, it may not be quite so simple because Gray-Card may have been using used a custom domain name (and another host? Is that possible?).

I think that’s part of the grieving process. However, you know how much you enjoy photography (and how much we enjoy your sharing it here). So pick yourself up and indulge in some photographic therapy. It’s good for all of us!

I’m in total agreement.

I’ve published many photos of graffiti without comment (including childish sex rants, anti-gay, anti-Obama, etc). Sometimes the graffiti is an important emotional element, other times it’s just detritus. Clearly, this is the former, and I believe it’s an unfortunate piece of our current political landscape.

This is probably my fourth or fifth visit, but the complex is entering a more advanced state of decay now. There have been a number of fires that have destroyed the entire midsection of the plant, and there are more roof and floor collapses. Things inside are constantly being moved--by kids, explorers, and photographers. There’s more graffiti inside and out now, too. There’s a reason I keep returning--as you said, it’s super cool. I love documenting the changes.

ok. More info on this please. What is this all about for those of us outside toronto.

The Sunshine Girl is all across Canada in the Sun Newspaper (very popular paper up here!) It's really neat if you are chosen to become one because it's not only a chance for you to promote and talk about yourself to a good chunk of Canada but you get to have a fun professional photo shoot too that's fit around your comfort zone and taste profile but done in a sort of pinup style! I had a three hour session and had so many photos taken in different outfits, now I run in the paper tomorrow so two photos will be put in there and about 15 - 30 will be posted online, I'll post up the direct links tomorrow >:D. All in all it's another chance for me to put myself out there and get people to notice me and what I do! Why the heck not right? I'm excited!
