Ok, listen, [spoilers for:] Please Remain Calm is one of those stories that kind of goes exactly how you want it to go while simultaneously leaving you gutted and with a sense of emptiness grasping at your chest. But thinking back on it, it's... it's a bit funny... how Rhys was all "oh does Sloane want me to tell her I love her? I can't say that tho, it's not true yet," right at the moment where she must have been thinking "oh he doesn't even know but Jess is being pretty obvious- ah I guess he didn't figure it out, better stop staring." Just. Ah, I don't know, sometimes irony in really really sad scenes give me a sense of absurdity that makes me smile after the fact.
