Curious Co-op

Previously

On the third day Joe took Ria to the observatory Curious Co-op. This place was known for frequent visits of extraterrestrials. They both wanted to enjoy the views from a high tower but first they ate dinner at a local bistro. And it was at the dinner table they began to argue.

Ria: Don’t get me wrong but I need to stay with Roy, he needs my help, he still barely walk. Joe: I knew it, is there any chance you forget about this guy? Ria: He is my friend, he helped me finding dad's murderer, he let me stay in his apartment when my crappy flat has no heating in winter. Joe: Oh my God honey don't you see he's in love with you? Even blind could see it. Ria: Maybe but we are friends and I don't want to change that. Joe: And I don't want my pregnant fiance live with old guy who's in love with her. It would be better to change the subject. Please I don't want to argue. I love You Ria, lets go to see sunset over the Strangetown.

Ria: Joe im scared, how do we raise a child, where? Joe: Now you have to go back to your parents, your dad can help us with baby, my parents will help with money. Don’t worry honey. Ria: But I have to quit college, all my plans and dreams… Joe: Stop, stop for a minute *hugging* Babe, You can just take a break from college,there is no need to quit. When I finish my degree I will have chance to earn some serious money. Ria: I knew, and I can work too. My grandma has a big restaurant in Windengurg Harbor . Joe: Sweete, my wife won’t be a waitress. Ria: I thought more about being manager *laughing* Joe: That’s the spirit! Lets get some sleep, tomorrow im taking you an a trip.

Christmas Eve, part III

Joe and Ria talked to each other as they used to. Joe told her about his university, new colleagues and professors, and living with Bob in a dormitory. Ria told Joe about her work, modeling career she dreamed of, and Art College which she barely begun. Joe came up with the idea to cast some snowballs. Fun in the snow ended quite surprisingly, and Ria didn’t know what to think about it. In the morning she remembered that she had to come back in the evening to eat Christmas dinner with Roy...

The family sat down to the table. Ria was angry with Joe, and he tried to apologize her. Cheyenne by all means tried to reconcile her daughter with her boyfriend, she did not know what happened, they never quarreled over. Maybe the amount of consumed champagne or maybe festive mood caused Ria ceased to be angry on Joe. To the delight of the whole family Joe kissed Ria   under the mistletoe.
