Heated rivalry head cannon
So I was rewatching at about the 38:31 mark when Ilya stands up and Shane immediately clocks in and crawls over to him. It felt very dom/sub to me. I know for a fact that Ilya has fucked atleast one woman who was a sub and told him about dom work and it intrigued him. I might write it I don’t know.
And as an add on Shane is neurodivergent and lots of neurodivergent people tend to like this dynamic in and out of the bed room because it’s simple and to the point. There is no need for them as a sub to read between the lines unless it’s some sort of innuendo that the dom is throwing around that makes sense to them. It’s honestly one of my favorite things about these types of relationships and why I crave one now.
