Ria x Pintô Art Museum
I could go on all day about the Pintô Art Museum and how it houses some of the best local contemporary art, but I won’t. Instead I’ll say this: Art has a way of making you feel that there is a world where irreverence is necessary, and where being a little bit off kilter is quite compulsory.
At the museum you’re allowed to sit and stare—where time is of no factor (save for museum hours), and where no one else matters but you and the artwork.
Of course this is not to say that Pintô is the only museum that offers this, because as far as I’m concerned, the museum experience is transcendent. What makes Pintô special though is how in its simplicity, amidst the white walls and hectares of open space, it gives art a chance to express itself without pretenses.
Simply put, the Pintô Art Museum is my happy place.
