"Ribbit?" she whispered. Gangle knew of the other, of course, had passed by the door of the smiling frog with the large red X over it more times than she could count. It had become routine at this point, though she sometimes wondered what the previous members of the circus had been like. If they would have been able to get along, if they would have shared any interests.
