Figured since their aunt can magically heal them, they got into some Shenanigans with their cousins and second cousins
Cesare Bartholomew Colmcille Madrigal Botero (Formerly Frollo): Cesare, while often considered the goody two shoes of his siblings, likes fire.
More specifically he likes PLAYING with fire.
In one such instance he was lighting toliet paper on fire and flushing it down the toliet before the paper was entirely gone—a game he played often in the early years.
Long story short, the toliet seat caught on fire and he burnt himself trying to put it out.
He was 13.
Casita was rather sore with him over it for awhile after the fact.
Claudine Esther-mary Agnes Dymphna Madrigal Botero (Formerly Frollo): For the first five years of her life, Claudine was punished terribly if she was even the slightest bit messy.
Because of this, when she was eight, she went through a rather nasty phase where she refused to clean her room unless she was absolutely focred to.
She'd leave her painting supplies out. She wouldn't pick up her clothes and toys off the floor, she wouldn't put her shoes by the door, and she wouldn't put her clarinet up in it's case.
There would be matches scattered across the floor.
Her covers would be strewn over the edge of her bed.
There were weeks when she absolutely would not clean up her room, no matter what punishment you gave her because nothing any of the Madrigals decided to punish her with was anywhere near bad enough as what Frollo did to her.
All of that is to say…
Well, it's not exactly a surprise that Claudine would get injured because of her own messiness, is it?
One time she was playing with matches at her desk when she burnt her finger, causing her to jump up from her desk—and slip on the puddle of paint that had dripped down her desk just minutes before that Claudine hadn't bothered to clean up.
Burnt her finger, slipped in a puddle of paint, tripped over her shoes, slipped on her clarinet, and face planted into the foot of her bed.
At the end of the incident, Julieta had to tend to a burnt thumb, a bloody nose, several bruises, and a concussion.
Cornel Thomas Howard Sebastian Madrigal Botero (Formerly Frollo And Formerly Gaskit): Cornel tried to cut his own hair when he was twelve but couldn't find any scissors.
He almost gave up then and there because he didn't trust his ability with an electric razor and didn't want to risk having to shave his entire head.
So instead of asking for help, you know what he did?
He remembered a conversation he overheard between Isabela and Dolores.
You see, Isabela started experimenting with different hairstyles and clothes a year or two after Casita fell—and she ended up cutting her own hair off with a kitchen knife (inspired by a line of dialogue in 'Mama Bear' by ArcticVulpix on ao3).
Five minutes later Bruno is trying to comfort his crying twelve year and ensure him 'no, no, the haircut— it's really not that bad! And I'm sure the cut on your cheek won't scar! Your ear looks fine!'.
(The hair cut did, indeed, look that bad).
Cyriacus Ignatius Vladimir Madrigal Botero (Formerly Frollo): Cyriacus has gotten good at using his powers to get around.
Usually he is able to do so without getting hurt.
Usually being the keyword.
He's only human after all and it's not like he has control over what he sees, and when.
He ended up running into a wall hard enough to leave a mark when playing with his siblings when he was eight or nine.
Glendale ‘Glenn’ Hazel Gothel (Soon To Be Madrigal): Remember how the Lost Revenge crew kidnapped Ben and then had to fight Lonnie & Co?
Yeah he didn't exactly escape that little fight unscathed.
He lost a tooth when he was sent flying into the Wharf—Lonnie packs quite the kick.
Magnolia ‘Gigi’ Marguerite Gothel (Soon To Be Madrigal): She scalded herself pretty badly once when she was little.
She had been trying to make a hair potion.
Instead she just ended up with burns on her hands, feet, and cheek.
Luckily it didn't scar.
Maisey Gaillardia Gothel-enriquez (Soon To Be Madrigal): Maisey is 8 years old when Bruno takes her in.
8 years old and she's never seen the outside world up close.
She's never seen the outside world, never seen the dangers of it. She didn't have a scope of her own limitations.
So of course she ended up getting concussed and breaking her arm, wrist, and ankle on a bad fall when attempting to climb to the top of a very steep tree.
Mason Primethorn Gothel (Soon To Be Madrigal): Mason likes to rough house.
Sometimes he roughhouses with the wrong person.
Long story short, he and Gil were roughhousing once as a kids and Mason ended up falling and hitting his head on a base—hard enough for it to break.
His skull was not a happy camper.
Rachel Anneliese Madrigal Botero (Formerly Ratcliffe): Guess who learned the hard way not to run with sewing/knitting needles and scissors as a kid?
Rachel.
That's who.
Luckily she didn't end up needing too many stitches.
Richard ‘Rick’ Perseus Madrigal Botero (Formerly Ratcliffe): You know how parents say not to play ball in the house?
Well, Rick learned that the hard way.
The hard way being an exploded light bulb vs. bare feet.
