WWJRD?
Christ spoke of loving our neighbors, yet many modern Christians disdain others for being harmlessly different.
Christ spoke of not judging others, yet many modern Christians point fingers of blame at scapegoats.
Christ spoke of feeding the poor, yet many modern Christians step over the homeless and curse the jobless.
Christ spoke of peace, yet many modern Christians clamor for walls and war.
Christ spoke of turning the other cheek, yet many modern Christians want capital punishment.
Christ overturned the moneychangers' tables, yet many modern Christians still hoard their wealth.
To what Jesus do these Christians pray? What Jesus would approve of what they do and what they will not do?
I don't see such a Jesus in the Bible, and most certainly not on the Mount.
I seek out the gentle Jesus. The peaceful, loving, kind Jesus.
Is there no room for such a Christ in Christianity anymore?
What Would Jesus Really Do?
