Aziraphale was worried. Well, he was often worried about anything and everything, but this time, he was worried about his best friend. He had been gone a week! And sure, Crowley often disappeared, but he always told him where he was going! So, when he hadn't picked up his phone in a week and hadn't dropped by the bookshop even once... Azi got worried. So now he found himself at that damned creepy apartment, knocking loudly on the dark door. "Crowley? Are you home? Please answer the door..."
Crowley was changing the place he was hiding his holy water because he thought that maybe it weren’t in a safe place, Crowley was taking all possible care but that wasn’t enough, he ended up knocking the bottle down and it ended up breaking and spreading the content so fast that the demon was hit, he began to feel his skin disappear, to melt, to his own soul was also hurting a lot, the pain was unbearable, everything was unbearable, Crowley imagined that this was his end and the only thing he thought was that he didn’t have time to say goodbye to Aziraphale.
But Crowley didn’t die, but perhaps something worse had happened, when Crowley opened his eyes he didn’t know anything else, he didn’t remember his past, he didn’t remember who he was, he didn’t remember anything at all, he just opened his eyes and woke up in a place that looked like a basement, but Crowley didn’t know what was basement, that is, he just opened his eyes and kept looking up completely confused, after a few minutes without understanding what was happening someone arrived, that ‘person’ began to explain that Crowley was a demon and what his duties were, Crowley began to be introduced to hell, but it seemed that for some reason the other demons didn’t like Crowley and Crowley couldn’t understand the reason, they laughed, they made strange comments and Crowley was very confused, but he knew nothing better and just obeyed.
After a week of learning and becoming more and more coerced Crowley was finally sent up to Earth, Crowley had seen so much in hell that he was simply afraid of not doing what he was asked to do, he just walked into the house and sat there waiting for instructions, waiting for the demons to say what he should do, and then he hear the knock, and he hear his name being called that could only be a demon and Crowley acting like a dog ran and opened the door, but he was wrong, that wasn’t a demon, that was an angel and he remembers everything the demons talked about the angels, they were monstrous and would kill Crowley immediately if they found him, Crowley didn’t know what death was, he still hadn’t understood, but all the trauma that he spent in hell made him understand that it was something frightening.
“Ah..ah…Please, angel, don’t kill me.”
