Chillin’ Villain Empire | Can You Love A Villain?
Chillin’ Villain Empire (CVE), aka Chillin Villainz, is a rapcrew from Los Angeles, CA, currently composed of Riddlore, Ngafsh, Ebow, Wreccless, Tray Loc, Ms. Wreccless, Chung Chu, and Nuvethad, and deejays Treacherous Kid Chaos, and Very Vital. The group dates back to 1985, when it was only NgaFsh (then Filet Of Soul), Riddlore (then The Riddler), and Jay Be (aka Jammin’ Jay Be Nice). The crew started performing in the legendary open mic Project Blowed, where other legendary L.A. rappers and crews like Freestyle Fellowship, Jurassic 5, The Shapeshifters, The Nonce, or Busdriver spawned from. The original 12 inch “Can You Love A Villain?” was a solo cut by Jay Be, but it was later re-interpreted some time in the early ‘90s by the group.
