Went to St James's Park. Saw floofiness and featheriness in abundance.

Today I went to the annual Big Woof dog festival in King's Cross, and met (and petted) all of these extremely good girls and boys. It was a very wholesome outing, would recommend.

Today in Barcelona I saw a cat so beautiful that he elicited gasps of awe and amazement from every tourist who saw him (including, but not limited to, me). Then when I examined the photo more closely later, I realized that it not only includes a second cat, but also makes a potentially great meme.

I posted gratuitous kitty pics the last time I visited Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium, so you'll have to forgive me for these, taken on my second visit today. I'm fairly sure that if evolution hadn't wanted us to take loads of photos of cats, it wouldn't have given them such delightfully fluffy appendages.

Today I visited Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium, a London café where you can watch, pet and play with up to eleven cats (depending on how many are awake), while eating scones and furiously Instagramming. If this sounds like the kind of thing you would enjoy, I recommend it highly. Watching a bunch of the resident kitties get terribly overexcited about chasing a passing fly was a comedy highlight of my week...

Also, I'm totally having shippery feelings for the main couple in the musical I'm working on right now.

They're the cutest thing in the world.

Oh god, these actors. THEY'RE SO CUTE.

One character's an actor pretending to be a woman for an acting gig and the other is... well, mostly is... a closeted movie star. They meet because they get locked in a closet on a cruise ship, and the character who is an actor playing a woman gets knocked out during a bit of choppy seas. The movie star then sings a song about how "He's falling for this girl in the closet..." and then there's a lot of amnesia shenanigans and fainting shenanigans and mistaken identity shenanigans and it ends happily ever after and the two go off into the sunset and it's SO CUTE.

and they're ridiculously cute and I just want to hug them both.
