Hi

No i’m not dead, i know i’ve been away way too long and thank you all who haven’t unfollowed me yet hah. Truth is i started med school in fall and I had to cut Tumblr time out bc i need to pass the year. But that’s not why i came back here. 

I have a story to share with you, a story how i was being catfished by a tumblr user for a year, and yes you read that right my friend. And also bc i want to raise awareness that these things really do exist irl too, not just on MTV. 

So last year I met this boy on tumblr, we really hit it off and started chatting and we soon moved on to Kik and then Whatsapp. Months of every day texting passed and we started dating. Like ik ik, internet dating, but i liked him and he was kind and sweet and different from all the infamous fuckboys i had dealt with before him. The only problem, he was really shy. He wouldn’t send me selfies and didn’t wanna skype. I couldnt understand why, bc apparently he had done photoshoots before and he was like, a cutie?

You guessed it...Thats not him. He had been sending me pics of some model guy, pretending to be him. For a year! And god did he make it seem real.

He told me he was 18. He is in fact 16 and doesn’t look like that at all. He is a good liar tho. That and i’m too good of a person to have blocked him the second i started to suspect something. But bc i couldn’t prove it, I didnt. 

This stranger took a year of my life away from me. I thought i loved somebody that was never real, i gave up sleep for texting, i gave trust, i gave love, i gave support, i gave myself. 

And got used. Abused.

I know i’m not the first nor the last one to have this happen to them. But I hope my post reaches you people, and i wish you to be more careful and less naive than i was. People on tumblr are not who they say they are. Tumblr is not safe. 

Please stay safe on the internet. And be smart.

I’m going on a small hiatus until Aug 10th.

I’m going to Russia tomorrow and I’ll be there for like a week. After that I’m coming back home for about 4 days AND THEN I AM GOING TO SPAIN TO VISIT MY WIFEY @astraliscas ♥ oh and yeah we’re doing Gishwhes together I am super excited!!

I’ll probably post a lot of stuff on my snapchat @therigtheous, add me for lame tourist pics, gishwhes madness and selfies with my favourite Spaniard (I’ll add you back ofc).

For: @qinsy Pairing: Destiel Words: 576 Tags: Established relationship, first home, fluffy fluffy fluff fluff, domestiel, I literally don’t know what else to tag... um, Cas comforting Dean, like a pro, I’m so bad at tagging holy shit.

(Please don’t hesitate to make a request if you want one!)

Dust clings to Dean like a second skin, muscles aching as he lowers himself to the bare wood floor with a heavy sigh.

“All done,” Castiel smiles, lifting a beer bottle from the upturned cardboard box in front of him; a makeshift dining table.

Dean hums, clinking his bottle against Castiel’s before leaning in for a gentle kiss, slightly salty from their sweat and their dinner of potato chips.

“I honestly never thought we’d manage, but... oh, Dean, isn’t it perfect?” Cas says, leaning back on his hands and looking around the bare room, his voice echoing from the lack of furniture. 

Dean frowns, “Might be nicer with a couch.”

“Your back okay?” Cas asks, rubbing comforting circles into Dean’s shoulders, chasing away the tension there as easily as brushing the dust from his jacket.

“Yeah,” Dean’s smile falters as he rolls his shoulders and casts his eyes around. The windows, so far with no blinds or curtains, the bare floors, the naked walls, the sheer emptiness of the space overwhelming.

“What’s up?” Cas’ head finds Dean’s shoulder, “you’re not happy.”

“No, no, I am, Cas, I am. It’s just... when I pictured our first home it was just a little more... I don’t know... full.”

Castiel’s laugh is a surprise, and Dean winces as it seems to reverberate through every room in their little house.

“Dean, you’re many things, but I never expected you to be a material girl.”

“You just... Cas, don’t you feel like... if you were with someone richer you might be sat on an actual seat right now? Going to sleep in an actual bed?”

“We have the mattress-”

“We’re gonna be eatin’ potato chips and beans for months, Cas. Right here, on the floor, at this cardboard box-”

“Dining table,” Castiel grins, spreading his hands lovingly over the surface, as if it were covered in the finest linen.

“I just want to give you what you deserve, Cas, I want you to be happy,” Dean says, staring at the lines in his hands and feeling utterly incompetent. He and Cas had agreed right at the start to go 50/50, despite how much Castiel had originally protested. 

The bare facts were: Cas came from money. He had a good job. 

Dean? Well, Dean was stubborn. And now, because of his unwillingness to budge on the matter, Cas was basically squatting in a newly bought house. And that just didn’t sit right.

“Dean,” Cas says softly, body turning towards him, hands framing his face, “where is this coming from?”

Dean can only shrug as Castiel’s eyes search his own.

“This place is everything, Dean, it’s everything. It’s our home, our first home that we bought together and that is so much more important than whether our sofa matches our curtains, or whether our bed has a frame to it or not-”

“We don’t even have a sofa, Cas-”

“We don’t need one! All we need is right here,” Castiel insists with hands coursing through Dean’s hair, “Dean, I am so happy. I’m so happy.”

Dean smiles shyly as Castiel’s slim fingers slide to stroke at the short hairs at the base of Dean’s skull, “Yeah?”

“Yes. And, it just so happens I love beans and chips,” Castiel grins, leaning forward to steal another kiss.

“I get the feeling you won’t be saying that next week,” Dean chuckles against Castiel’s lips, gathering his whole world into his lap and cradling him close.
