No, it’s not an anti gun video

It’s an extremely PRO gun video on Youtube.

The thing is, gun nuts will hate it because it slaughters their sacred Golden Calf:  “Size matters.”

As the video makes clear, and these are ballistics experts, moving up in size is no improvement if you’re more comfortable/accurate with a smaller caliber.

AND...

When it comes to conceal carry, even velocity, FPS, doesn’t really matter. That’s just a strategy often used to achieve the actual goals:  Penetration & Expansion.

So we really can migrate the nutters to smaller, pocket carry pistols. They really are effective in dealing with threats. Well, assuming we’re not talking about a .25 APC, which even a .22 long beats. But certainly starting at a .22 magnum round, you’re safe.

Why the big deal?

Because these little pocket guns aren’t great for mass shootings. They’re not good for mass shootings. They’re a near perfect match to the needs of a Personal Protection weapon but they’re lousy if you want to kill a lot of people, particularly at any distance.

That’s why.

We really can have it both ways:  Well armed gun nuts even as we’re much safer from mass shooters.
