My redesigns of Ringo and Atari

I tried to give Ringo a more gyaru vibe, not sure if you can tell but she does have some makeup

Also I tried to make them look older, Atari is supposed to be 18 while Ringo is 21-22

Trying a new rendering style as well

Hey, just to ask, after reading that last post...

Who the heck is Yomi? And what does she have to do with Atari and what the EDC wants to do with her?

Allow me to address...

Yomi is Amao Hitoshizuku's deceased daughter, the daughter who died in an ordinary car crash that Amao blamed the Cybertronians for. Yomi was said to be a shy and ordinary high school student at the age of 16 when she died.

She was supposedly a girl who resembled Amao in her younger years and had dreams of being a star, whether or not she wanted to be a movie star or some other star is beyond me.

But what Yomi has to deal with Atari is because, due to her resemblance to Yomi and the once-young Amao, Amao had an obsession with immortalizing Atari as this horribly shy 16-year-old who couldn't defend herself, going to extreme lengths to keep her the way she is, all to fill the void that is having a daughter.

Basically, meaning, Amao has been emotionally abusing Atari into the state she is now, with Ringo doing all the physical stuff and other forms of bullying, to make Atari stay in the EDC...

And, besides the grief of losing a daughter, Amao is doing all this because she made a deal with the leader of The Legion to resurrect Yomi with not just the body parts of the yet-to-be-named Transformer, but also having Atari as a sacrifice and a vessel for Yomi to be "reborn" in a way...

Fucked up shit is all I can say.

The designs for the EDC girls are pretty much the same but I wanted to make them a bit more different

What rank or how experience the girls are decides the color uniform they wear

Atari wears white because she just joined the EDC

Ringo and Kayu are gray because they have a ton of experience, they are Atari's seniors. Kayu just recently got promoted to this rank

And Shaoshao is the leader of the team, she's been here the longest, joining sometime after the disaster and she's the best at what she does, so she wears black

Oh! by the way Ringo rolls her skirt up to make it shorter, and Kayu has long sleeves which covers her hands I just feel like that would be something they would have

So far these are the simple designs I've drawn out for them, but I will be making actual full body drawings sometime
