The Saloon in Hitchcock was as busy as always. There were drunks all around and people playing card to keep them entertained for the evening. The bar owner would be at the counter, waiting new or old customers to ask for any kind of refreshment that would be available. But there was one thing that stood out a bit from the rest: a young woman sitting at the piano wearing jeans and a hoodie shirt.
She was singing and playing a western tune that got the crowd cheerful and happy. She looked happy enough herself, the smile on her face and the gleam in her eyes behind her glasses. Even when the song ended and she got up to go to the bar, she still looked like she enjoyed herself very much.
