NO NO NO NO MOM PLEASE NO NO NOT AGAIN NO NOT IN FRONT OF THE FAMILY
“Tory, I am going to need you to just rest until they are born.”
As if her life wasn’t already boring enough, now she wasn’t allowed to cast magic~ She loved the woman who had been caring for her during her pregnancy, now she hated no one else. The last thing she wanted to do was not use magic! “Tory, I want you to stay with us for now.” Her mother’s voice was sweet and endearing but it wasn’t what she wanted to hear. If she was stuck there, they could make sure she wasn’t using magic. The young elf turned her eyes to the woman that was almost a Mirror Image of her daughter. Tory slumped forward dramatically, stretching her arms across the table with her chin on the wood. After a moment she put her face against the cool grain of the surface, “Mom. I promise, I will fly home and I won’t use magic. I don’t want to stay here for the next few months.” The older woman sighed lightly, “It isn’t that we want to monitor your magic use... I just...” Her mother wouldn’t say it out loud, but she knew that the navyman had been helping Tory from time to time, and without his help things might become difficult for the young mage. “We can be more help if you are here! Especially with Dathon so busy. I just want to make sure you are safe.” Tory sat up suddenly with a huff, the extent of the ‘no magic’ was beyond just her not using it. She wasn’t allowed to enter portals, she wasn’t allowed to eat conjured food, ect. She wasn’t quite sure why this limitation was put on her, but it was, and now her parents were going to see to it that she stuck to it.
“Fine, but as soon as I can, I am going home. I will see if I can get Dathon to get me some of my things.” A smile spread to her mother’s face as Tory stood up, “I will be in my room.” Tory turned to walk off to the room her parents had let her stay in during the whole Northshire debacle without another word. It was going to be a long three months.
I just found out one of my childhood friends died on Friday so I'm gonna take some time off I love you guys
