HBD. Still regret not going to that Kelly price event a few days before she passed because I never saw her in person before...—I don’t give a flying f$&k what this woman did behind the scenes...{according to what was shown in some of those films that were aired}. I will never forget this moment right here! It was so dope how they introduced her to the world in this video. The camera 🎥 dollying/handheld—as they get closer. Bong! Then we see who this really is. A Jersey Girl! My family knows I was completely locked-in after hearing and seeing this woman sing this song right here...I fell in Love. Word. Haaa. For real. Don’t judge me. I knew I was just age 10 or 11 but I wanted to know what she meant by “you give good love”... I knew she would win in this industry. #Beautiful and #talented. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ms. Houston. Much love and respect to you and your family. #ripwhitney and #ripbobbikristina #myfirstgirl
Thinking about @WhitneyHouston today! Ran into her wax figure in the window of DC’s @madametussauds. “Nippy” was 27 when she sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" with the Florida Orchestra at Super Bowl XXV at Tampa Stadium in 1991. The song was prerecorded to raise funds for soldiers and families of those involved in the Persian Gulf War. Her performance was followed by a flyover of F-16 jets from the 56th Tactical Training Wing at MacDill Air Force Base. That day the The New York Giants defeated the Buffalo Bills by the score of 20–19, winning their second Super Bowl. God Bless the family of Whitney Houston. #ripBobbiKristina Brown #ripwhitneyhouston #whitneyhouston #blackfacts #blackgirlmagic #blackgirlsrock #nippy
